Three generations of HVAC and plumbing along the Puget Sound. We handle heat pump conversions, boiler work, tankless installs, and commercial mechanical — the kind of detail-heavy work you don’t hand to a call-center franchise.
Residential and light commercial. Puget Sound homes need a steady hand on heat pumps and boilers — and plumbing that doesn’t pretend old houses aren’t old houses.
Cold-climate heat pump conversions, ductless mini-splits, and traditional gas furnaces. PSE rebate paperwork handled.
Radiant floor systems, cast-iron boiler replacement, hydronic zone work. Seattle-old-house specialty.
Tankless water heaters, repipes, drain work, fixture install. We do old-house plumbing without destroying the old house.
Offices, multi-unit residential, small retail. Scheduled preventive contracts keep systems running 20+ years.
My grandfather founded Cascade in 1986 after twenty years in the pipefitters local. My father took over in 2004 and added the HVAC division. I came on in 2016 to bring in heat pumps and commercial mechanical. Different decades, same crew handbook.
We don’t franchise. We don’t pay commission on upsells. The tech who quotes your boiler today will be the one who answers the call in year nine when it needs a gasket.
Live dispatcher at our Georgetown office picks up. Schedule on the first call.
Named tech, on time, in a clean Cascade van. Same face every visit.
We inspect, document, and price flat-rate. Rebate paperwork included.
Clean install, tuned commissioning, 10-year parts + 2-year labor warranty.
Our 1908 Capitol Hill house had a cranky cast-iron boiler the last three plumbers refused to touch. Elias at Cascade walked the whole zone layout with me, proposed a Navien hybrid conversion, and kept the original radiators in service. Warm house, lower gas bill, and I didn’t lose my radiators. Remarkable trade work.
Three contractors told us a ductless heat pump wouldn’t work in our Ballard craftsman. Cascade came out, did a real load calculation, and installed a 3-zone Mitsubishi system that’s carried us through two cold snaps without issue. PSE rebate was $4,100. These guys know the PNW.
We manage four small multi-unit buildings in Queen Anne. Cascade has handled our preventive maintenance contract for six years. No surprises, clean invoicing, same tech shows up every quarter. They are exactly what a mechanical trade should be.
We’ll pick up, book you in, and put a named tech at your door. Same way we’ve done it since 1986.
